FH6 Car Tier List — Best Cars for Every Class & Discipline

Meta snapshot: Series 4 · August 2026 (Horizon Mascot Party has been live since Aug 13; Summer week ends Thu 20 Aug 14:30 UTC). FH6 launched with 618 cars. Festival drops have grown the roster since — we are not publishing an exact live count. Most of them will sit in your garage collecting dust. This shortlist is the 30–40 cars you'll actually race — Rivals, Horizon Open, and seasonal championships.
Recommendations are cross-checked with community guides (PC Gamer, Games.gg, Reddit, creator consensus such as MitchCactus / Johnson Racing / HokiHoshi) and leaderboard chatter. They are a strong starting shortlist, not official rankings — meta shifts with patches and Series cars.
How to Use This Tier List
| Symbol | Meaning |
|---|
| 🥇 | S-Tier — Dominant. The meta pick. Build this first. |
| 🥈 | A-Tier — Competitive. Wins races. Slightly less dominant. |
| 🥉 | B-Tier — Viable. Fun. Budget alternative or specialist. |
"Best Class" = the PI class where this car is most competitive. You can build cars to any class, but these are their sweet spots.
PI bands (unchanged): D ~100–400 · C ~401–500 · B 501–600 · A 601–700 · S1 701–800 · S2 801–900 · R 901+.
Road / Street Racing
Road racing is the main competitive discipline. These cars win circuit races, street sprints, and Horizon Open.
R-Class (PI 901-998) — Track Prototypes
| Rank | Car | Why | How to Get |
|---|
| 🥇 | 2018 Ferrari FXX-K EVO | Most consistent all-rounder. Strong braking and mid-corner grip. Still the default R-class road pick. | Welcome Pack (DLC) or Autoshow (check current price) |

Budget pick: 1985 Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT Apex (non-FE) — cheap stock RWD, perfect for learning.

Cars to Think Twice About
| Car | Why we hesitate |
|---|
| Bugatti Chiron | Community consensus is "heavy for the money." We do not have a verified 3.5M sticker we trust — check the Autoshow before you plan around a number. Jesko / AMG One cover speed and handling cheaper. |
| Lamborghini Centenario | Sounds amazing, often described as barge-like. The Revuelto is free from Road Racing. Live Autoshow price is unverified here. |
| Headline hypercars you haven't driven | Don't blow a session's credits on a car that might be outclassed next week. Test-drive or Aftermarket first. |
What About the Rest of the Roster?
FH6 launched with 618 cars. Festival cars keep arriving. This tier list covers ~35 competitive starting points. The rest fall into three buckets:
- Fun cars — Not meta, but enjoyable (classics, oddballs, JDM icons)
- Collector cars — Car Collection completion, not racing
- Garage filler — Wheelspin drops you may never drive
That's fine. FH6 is car culture first. Drive what you like — pull this shortlist when you need wins.
Tier list rankings are opinion, refreshed for FH6 Series 4 (19 August 2026). Rankings shift with Festival cars, patches, and Rivals discovery. Re-check seasonal rewards before spending millions.
