FH6 Car Tier List — Best Cars for Every Class & Discipline

Forza Horizon 6 racing scene

Forza Horizon 6 launched with 618 cars. Most of them will sit in your garage collecting dust. This tier list is the 30-40 cars you'll actually use — the ones topping Rivals leaderboards, winning Horizon Open races, and dominating seasonal championships.

All recommendations are cross-referenced across Eurogamer, Games.gg, eGamersWorld, Reddit community consensus, and top YouTube creators (MitchCactus, Johnson Racing, HokiHoshi). These aren't opinions — they're the cars you'll see on podiums.

How to Use This Tier List

SymbolMeaning
🥇S-Tier — Dominant. The meta pick. Build this first.
🥈A-Tier — Competitive. Wins races. Slightly less dominant.
🥉B-Tier — Viable. Fun. Budget alternative or specialist.

"Best Class" = the PI class where this car is most competitive. You can build cars to any class, but these are their sweet spots.

Cars to Avoid (Trap Buys)

CarWhy Skip It
Bugatti Chiron (3,500,000 CR)Too heavy for its class. Outperformed by Jesko at half the price for speed, and AMG One for handling.
Lamborghini Centenario (2,300,000 CR)Sounds amazing. Handles like a boat. Outclassed by the Revuelto — which is free.
Any 10,000,000+ CR Autoshow car (pre-FH6 economy)Wait. The meta isn't settled. Don't blow 10M on a car that might be outclassed next week.

What About the Other 580 Cars?

FH6 has 618 cars. This tier list covers the ~35 most competitive ones. The remaining 580+ cars fall into three categories:

  1. Fun cars — Not meta, but enjoyable to drive (classics, oddballs, JDM icons)
  2. Collector cars — Valuable for Car Collection completion, not racing
  3. Garage filler — You'll get them from Wheelspins and never drive them

That's not a bad thing. FH6 is a car culture game first, racing sim second. Drive what makes you happy. But when you need to win, use this list.

Tier list updated for FH6 Series 1 meta (May 31, 2026). Rankings will shift as the competitive community discovers new builds and patches adjust car stats. We'll update this article throughout Series 1 and beyond.
