How to Pick an FH6 Tune for a Festival Restriction or a New Car
How to pick an FH6 tune
You already know the constraint. A Festival Playlist card locked a Performance Index bracket, or a car you just unlocked is sitting in the garage and you need a setup for the way you will drive it. On fh6tunes.app the next move is the tunes list, with two filters set before you copy anything: PI class, then discipline.
Class ranges live in the PI classes guide. What Road, Street, Dirt, Cross Country, Drift, Drag, and Touge are for lives in the tune types guide. Entering a code in Forza Horizon 6 lives in the share codes guide. This page is the choice in front of those three.
Open the tunes list and set both filters
Start at /tunes. The class control is D, C, B, A, S1, S2, R, or X. Set the bracket the event named. An A-class card is A class. An S1 card is S1 class. A build one bracket away will not qualify, even when the car name is right.
Then set the discipline. The tunes list stores it as a type:
| Discipline | Filter on /tunes |
|---|---|
| Road | Road Racing |
| Street | Street |
| Dirt | Offroad |
| Cross Country | Cross Country |
| Drift | Drift |
| Drag | Drag |
| Touge | Touge |
Dirt is the Offroad type on that control. The other six use the same words as the guide.
When the card names both, combine them. An A-class road event is A class, Road Racing. An A-class cross country event is A class, Cross Country. Same class, two different lists. The class filter alone leaves the wrong discipline in the results.
A car you just unlocked, with no class lock, starts from the car. Search the name on the tunes list, or open it from cars. Read the setups players attached to that car, then still match class and discipline to the job you are about to drive.
A useful listing has four things
Open the tune page. Keep it when all four are on the page:
- Car match. The listing is the car in your garage. A share code installs on one car.
- Class. The PI class is the bracket the event allows.
- Discipline. The type is the surface and the job: road, street, dirt, cross country, drift, drag, or touge.
- Notes about how the car behaves. Where it rotates, whether it pushes on entry, how it launches, whether it holds angle. The notes are how you tell a grip build from a specialty build before you download it.
A code alone is not enough. Nine digits with no car, no class, and no description of the drive do not tell you the download belongs in this event. Upvotes are other players' experience. They do not replace the notes.
What to skip
Skip three kinds of result:
- Demo listings. A sample row is not a player who tested this car for this week. If the page does not describe how the car behaves, leave it.
- A discipline that does not match the event. Drift, drag, and touge are their own jobs. A drag launch setup is the wrong download for a road circuit, even in the right class. A cross country build is the wrong download for a street route.
- A class outside the restriction. One bracket off and the car is illegal for that card.
An empty filtered list means nobody has published that combination yet. The page stays empty until a player does. FH6 Tunes does not fill the gap with a generated code.
You already tested a setup
If you have driven the build, publish it at submit a tune. Send the car, the PI class, the discipline, and notes about how the car behaves. Players filtering this list are looking for those four things. The site does not invent codes. A code shows up here after someone submits one they tested.
