FH6 Treasure Cars Guide — All 9 Hidden Car Locations

Hidden car in Forza Horizon 6 Japan

Treasure Cars are FH6's other hidden vehicle system — distinct from Barn Finds. Instead of being gated behind Stamp Levels, Treasure Cars require you to solve map clues, find specific landmarks, and physically discover hidden cars scattered across Japan. Here are all 9.

All 9 Treasure Cars

1. Nissan Figaro (1991)

  • Region: Minamino
  • Class: D
  • Clue: "Find me where the cherry blossoms meet the sea"
  • Location: Coastal road south of Minamino. Look for a small parking area overlooking the ocean with cherry trees.

The Figaro is a retro-styled convertible kei car — only 20,000 were ever made. A charming first treasure car that sets the tone for the hunt.

2. Dodge Charger R/T (1969)

  • Region: Nangan
  • Class: C
  • Clue: "American muscle rests where ships once docked"
  • Location: Abandoned warehouse district in Nangan's old port. Behind a shipping container near the water.

The quintessential American muscle car hiding in Japan's industrial port. Look for rusted containers and follow the sound of seagulls.

3. Porsche 959 (1987)

  • Region: Hokubu
  • Class: S1
  • Clue: "German engineering, frozen in time"
  • Location: Near the frozen lake in northern Hokubu. A snow-covered garage off a dirt trail.

The 959 was the most technologically advanced car of the 1980s — twin-turbo, AWD, and capable of 317 km/h. Finding one in a frozen Japanese garage is pure Horizon poetry.

4. Mazda Cosmo Sport 110S (1968)

  • Region: Takashiro
  • Class: D
  • Clue: "The first rotary hides where neon meets tradition"
  • Location: Behind a traditional temple in Takashiro's old town district, just outside the neon-lit commercial zone.

The Cosmo was Mazda's first rotary-powered production car. This is a Series II model with the more reliable 10A engine.

5. Toyota Sports 800 (1965)

  • Region: Ito
  • Class: D
  • Clue: "Toyota's first sports car sleeps beside a waterfall"
  • Location: Near a waterfall in northern Ito. Follow the river upstream from Minka House.

The Sports 800 (affectionately called "Yota-Hachi") was Toyota's first sports car. Weighing just 580 kg with a 790cc boxer engine, it's a piece of Japanese automotive history.

6. Datsun 510 (1971)

  • Region: Shimanoyama
  • Class: D
  • Clue: "A rally legend waits at the end of the dirt road"
  • Location: At the end of a long dirt trail in southern Shimanoyama, near a small farmhouse.

The Datsun 510 (Bluebird) was Japan's answer to the BMW 2002. A rear-wheel-drive, independent suspension sedan that dominated rallying in the early 70s.

7. Subaru 360 (1969)

  • Region: Tokyo City
  • Class: D
  • Clue: "The people's car of Japan, lost in the metropolis"
  • Location: Tucked in an alleyway between two skyscrapers in Tokyo City's Shibuya district.

The Subaru 360 was Japan's "people's car" — a tiny, rear-engined city car that could fit through gaps most cars couldn't dream of.

8. Honda S800 (1966)

  • Region: Ohtani
  • Class: D
  • Clue: "9,000 RPM of chain-driven fury, resting by the lighthouse"
  • Location: Near the lighthouse on Ohtani's eastern peninsula. Park near the cliff edge and look for a small cave entrance.

The S800's engine revved to 9,000 RPM and drove the rear wheels via a chain — like a motorcycle. One of the most unique engineering choices in automotive history.

9. Isuzu 117 Coupé (1972)

  • Region: Ohtani / Tokyo City border
  • Class: C
  • Clue: "Italian design, Japanese heart. Where the highway meets the hills."
  • Location: A rest stop parking lot on the mountain highway connecting Ohtani to Tokyo City.

The 117 Coupé was styled by Giorgetto Giugiaro — the same designer behind the DeLorean DMC-12. It was Japan's first car to feature electronic fuel injection.

Fastest Route

Treasure Cars don't require any progression gating — just the clues and the map. You can start collecting them from the moment the map opens up. A focused session can net all 9 in about 2-3 hours:

  1. Start in Minamino (Figaro) → work clockwise through Nangan (Charger) → Hokubu (Porsche 959)
  2. Then Takashiro (Cosmo) → Ito (Sports 800) → Shimanoyama (Datsun 510)
  3. Finish in Tokyo City (Subaru 360) → Ohtani (Honda S800) → mountain highway (Isuzu 117)
