FH6 Series 1 Hotfix — Official May 2026 Notes

Forza Horizon 6 city neon night

Forza Horizon 6 shipped two Series 1 hotfixes in its first two weeks. This page follows the official Forza Support release notes for May 18 (v360.259) and May 27 (v364.933). Community rumor about Autoshow load times, Wheelspin journal tracking, barn-find "collected" flags, surround mapping, a garage infinite-XP exploit, Welcome Pack ownership, or radio/engine mix is not in those notes — we dropped it.

Hotfix 1 (May 18, 2026) — Version 360.259

Series 1 Hotfix 1 on Steam, Xbox, and Windows PC. Official version number on all three: 360.259.

What Forza Support actually listed

  • Profile loading — improvements targeting profile-load errors on start-up. Investigation ongoing; they pointed players at the Forza Feedback Portal and the Gaming Services Repair Tool.
  • Xbox-app invites — fixed an issue where accepting a game invite via the Xbox App could close the game.
  • Steam Controller — fixed an issue where using a Steam Controller could cause a crash.

That's the official list. If a recap site added Autoshow load times, Wheelspin Collection Journal tracking, barn-find "collected" registration, or 5.1/7.1 surround remapping to this patch, those bullets were invented.

Hotfix 2 (May 27, 2026) — Version 364.933

Series 1 Hotfix 2 on Steam, Xbox, and Windows PC. Official version number on all three: 364.933.

What Forza Support actually listed

  • General — performance and stability fixes.
  • Collection Journal — fixed an issue where the Photography section of Discover Japan could not be completed, which blocked Master Explorer.
  • Audio (PC) — further PC audio optimizations, including adjustments to "Low" and "Very Low" Audio Quality settings. Official recommendation: use those settings in Graphics & Performance if you hear crackle.

Not in the official notes: a garage infinite-XP exploit, Welcome Pack cars not showing as owned, or radio-versus-engine volume balance.

What This Page Is Not

Launch-week forum threads still talked about convoy drops, Photo Mode crashes on Series S, and Auction House lag. Those were community reports, not patch notes, and they are months old as of August 2026. Check Forza Support Known Issues if you are chasing a live bug.

A "Winter update on 4 June" was only a Series 1 week guess at the time. Series 1 did run a Winter playlist window in early June; that was a Festival calendar beat, not a promised "meatier" patch date.
